LITE: Taking Nature Into Account: Circular Economy

Reimagine a world without waste.

As plastic waste continues to pile up around the world and contaminate all our urban and wild spaces, it is crucial to reimagine the way we live.

The circular economy has risen in popularity around the world and represents a transformative solution that reduces waste and its negative impact on the environment.

Emirates Nature-WWF is working closely with leading businesses and the local government to establish a circular economy here in the UAE, so that materials are re-used and maintained within the economy.

In this 3-hour LITE session, our experts will introduce the theory behind the circular economy and explain how it can be applied in our current day to day operations.

We also take a close look at plastics and their leakage into our ecosystems in the UAE, and what solutions exist to limit this form of pollution.
