Hidden Oasis: Research The Flora and Fauna

One of the best experiences so far with Emirates Nature! From meeting point in Wadi Wurayah all the way till the end of the activity we’ve received so many useful and interesting facts about Wadi Wurayah in general and about Flora and Fauna! During our walk through the beautiful mountain we’ve seen many interesting and beautiful species. Was lucky enough to see Omani Saw-scaled Viper, couple of them, in fact. We’ve dived a bit deeper in the mountain for look our for mini waterfalls which was beautiful. Many bees were seen in the area which made this activity even more beautiful and interesting amongst other species. Thank you Fatma, Ahmed and the team! You guys were great 👏

On October 06, 2024, I attended the HIDDEN OASIS: RESEARCH THE FLORA AND FAUNA event in Fujairah, and it was an amazing experience. Beyond my expectations, it was an educational and well-organized. The hike and interactive activity were really enjoyable. The practical exercises provided an excellent means of applying the learned material. I especially appreciated learning about the Wadi Huriya flora and their natural environments. The event was well-organized from start to finish. Thanks Fathma

I had one of the best experiences in my life. I saw new places and tried new things, I enjoyed hiking in nature, and I think we were lucky to go in this weather after the rain because there was water that made the wadi more beautiful and the experience more special. Special thanks to Nasser and Ahmed for sharing their knowledge and being helpful.

I had a fantastic experience attending the HIDDEN OASIS: RESEARCH THE FLORA AND FAUNA event in Fujairah on 28 January 2024. It was a well-organised and informative event that exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the hike and hands-on activity very much. The hands-on activities were a great way to put the knowledge gained into practice. I particularly enjoyed collecting information about plants in the Wadi Huriya and natural habitats The event was well-organised from start to finish. The overall atmosphere of the event was friendly and welcoming. I met many interesting people who share my passion for nature and conservation. Suggestions for improvement: While the event was excellent overall, there are a few areas where it could be improved. For example, [the timing of the event early and the duration should be a little longer. I would love to go back whenever there is a next event.
