Discover, Document, Lead!

'Discover, Document, Lead!' is the Lead element of the UAE Biodiversity Impact Track, designed for participants who are ready to take their citizen science skills beyond individual observations and into community action.

After exploring UAE biodiversity, learning how ecosystems connect, and practicing how to record meaningful observations on iNaturalist, this session focuses on how to lead others through the same process. Participants will learn what a BioBlitz is, how to plan one, how to guide participants in making useful biodiversity records, and how community observations can contribute to real conservation evidence.

By the end of the session, participants will feel more confident bringing people together to observe, record, and celebrate the nature around them; while helping build a stronger citizen science network across the UAE.
