ABOUT THE EVENT
Discover the natural beauty of Abu Dhabi’s unique landscapes while contributing to their conservation. By taking part in the litter survey, participants will help protect and preserve the area’s environment, ensuring a cleaner and healthier habitat for local wildlife and the community.
What will participants learn or gain from the activity?
- Conduct a litter survey and remove the waste from the area, helping wildlife thrive.
- Record data using the Sahim app to provide insights that inform policymaking.
WHICH AREA OF IMPACT DOES IT CONTRIBUTE TO?
- Reduction of plastic leakage into nature by 50% by 2030. Understand the source of plastic waste and contribute to the analysis of 2,000 kg of litter. The findings will support a policy on single-use plastics and help create a thriving circular economy in the UAE.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
This session is open to members of Leaders of Change, who are 12 and above.
