ABOUT THE EVENT

Discover the beauty of this hidden natural site in Fujairah while contributing to its conservation. By taking part in the litter survey, participants will help maintain the area's health and vitality, supporting both local wildlife and the surrounding environment.

What will participants learn or gain from the activity?  

  1. Conduct a litter survey and remove the waste from the area, helping wildlife thrive.
  2. Record data using the Clean Swell app to provide insights that inform policymaking.

WHICH AREA OF IMPACT DOES IT CONTRIBUTE TO?

  • Reduction of plastic leakage into nature by 50% by 2030. Understand the source of plastic waste and contribute to the analysis of 2,000 kg of litter. The findings will support a policy on single-use plastics and help create a thriving circular economy in the UAE.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

This session is open to members of Leaders of Change, who are 12 and above.
