Join us in Al Bithnah to monitor the growth of Arabian moringa trees we planted last year, supporting environmental conservation and community engagement.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us in Al Bithnah, Fujairah, as we revisit the Arabian Moringa trees planted one year ago. Together, we’ll walk through the Hajar Mountains, monitor the growth of the trees, and record important data about their health and progress.
What will participants learn or gain?
Analyse how the trees they planted have grown and record data to measure the success of the plantation.
Learn about the different factors that influence native tree restoration, as well as the challenges of restoring biodiversity in mountainous environments.
AREA OF IMPACT
Restore 20,000 m² of natural habitats (nearly the size of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque complex in Abu Dhabi!).
Enhance the ecotourism potential of the area by enriching biodiversity along nature trails, creating a positive and sustainable visitor experience while preserving the region’s history, wildlife and cultural diversity.
