Join the Al Dahir Litter Spotter Clean-Up Event, presented by Emirates Foundation's Takatof Social Volunteering Program in collaboration with Emirates Nature. It's more than a clean-up; Contribute to research on the amount and type of single use plastics and other waste entering the environment throughout the year. Data is reported to researchers and policy makers, helping them to take action, and formulate new regulations and provide recommendations to leaders.

As you immerse yourself in this community-driven event, you'll not only be contributing to a cleaner, greener community but also engaging in a unique opportunity to connect with the natural world that surrounds us.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

No experience is necessary, although a reasonable level of fitness is required. Volunteers will need to be able to hike several kilometers and carry bags of litter. We welcome volunteers of all ages; However it is not suitable for babies and volunteers under 18 can only attend when accompanied adults, please reach out to [email protected] for enquiries.
