Join us for the Sahim Beach Clean-up at Industrial City, Abu Dhabi on 25 February to celebrate the launch of Sahim – an initiative that encourages everyone in the UAE to become a citizen scientist and contribute to environmental conservation.
Learn about the importance of Citizen Science in advancing scientific research in the UAE and join environmentalists in clearing the beach and analysing waste using the new Sahim app.
People of all ages are welcome. Clean-up materials and refreshments will be available at the event.
About Sahim
Launched by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) and Emirates Nature-WWF, Sahim aims to harness the power of community participation and drive a new era of citizen-science in the UAE. Each project is built upon rigorous citizen-science principles and contributes towards national environmental and sustainability goals.
