Explore one of UAE's gems and protected areas and contribute to scientific research.
Explore one of the UAE's natural sanctuaries and hike through the protected area of Wadi Wurayah National Park. In celebration of International Volunteer Day, join us in making a meaningful contribution to science and conservation! Throughout this activity, you will help us collect information about plants, natural habitats, and even assist in counting the endemic Arabian toads, a vital part of our ecosystem monitoring efforts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for youth and other participants to experience the power of citizen science—demonstrating how individuals can make a real impact. While individual scientists can only be in a few places at a time, hundreds of citizen scientists like you can help us gather invaluable data. Together, we can advance scientific research and ensure the continued protection of this unique reserve.
Additionally, English and Arabic media representatives will be present at the event, so get ready to share your inspiring stories and experiences. You might just inspire others to join the important conservation mission! Be part of the movement to protect nature—your efforts matter!WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
